I love this app. It is amazing to have as a background, absolutely love it. So enthralling.

Love that you can use it as a hot key screen lock. Also very cool that it spans mutiple screens.

This is a fun idea. It simulates the feeling of begin in a space shuttle. The lite version is actually better for me because high up in space, you can’t see that much detail, which makes the experience even more real. (the pro version has buildings and wheather on it-supposedly for functional use) You can (pretend) travel over the Earth at a leisurely speed without the app getting unstable or stuck. The best thing I like about it, though, is that it is totally unobtrusive. Truly, it only changes your home screen, nothing else. So you can have a look at the wallpaper when you want to and even make it a screensaver! (that’s really nice too) Great, if you could add higher definition to the wallpaper, would be a superb app!

the app looks really cool, but it is really laggy, and makes my computer reallly slow. it could be just that i have an older one (2008).

Hugely educational - when the earth is rotating it gives you a feel for how much our perception of land mass shapes are determined by all of those flat school maps - I find myself looking just to figure out exactly what I am looking at. Also, the ability of this app to provide a moving image as the desktop instead of simply a screen saver makes this a must have on all my Macs.

Okay… I read the reviews and I was convinced that this would be a great buy (yes, I know it’s free). So, I “bought” it, and once I got it I went to check it out. But guess what… It’s not there! The app store says I have it, but I don’t. So I tried getting it again, but, obviously, I couldn’t becuase according to the app storeI have it. …BUT I DON’T!!!

I downloaded this in anticipation of finding a new "ScreenSaver" for my computer. Although the imagery is great, its not a screensaver that can be used AS a screensaver. The only way that it can be used AS a SCREENSAVER, is if the app is active. It cannot be imported, and/or installed into my computer system, software for the screensaver. This same observation also goes for the "Lost Watch 3D App." Neither of them are screensavers even though they are listed and claimed as screensavers. Disappointing, and I uninstalled and deleted both programs... Also, to get other features, you are expected to pay for them. All you get is a basic program that really amounts to nothing much at all. This is crap!

Works great spanning my three monitors. What’s next; the Moon or Mars? It’d be nice to have a clue, sometimes, about what I’m seeing.

I really liked the layout of earth lite. But after a few weeks of use, it stopped working properly. I havent changed anything or done anything different. So i’m considering moving onto something else. But the earth moving options are great and realistic.

This thing takes over your Mac. After I launched the app it worked fine. But when I tried to quit it, I couldn’t turn it off. In the ‘Force Quit’ window it doesn’t show up. It doesn’t appear in the desktop screen saver window. There is no icon in the dock. No app controls whatsoever. When I tired to drag the App to the trash it wouldn’t let me because it “was in use”. I finally had to to drag all the contents from from the OS into the trash and reboot my Mac to turn this thing off. This is ridiculous. There is no QUIT button? I just trashed the whole thing.
