If you could build a feature where clicking on a feature stops rotation and TRANSLUCENT text box appears identifying feature with basic geo facts.

A nice app. The graphics are great and so far it, it works without a hitch, although I think the earth doesnt rotate quite so fast. For free its awesome. No complaints - It works the way its supposed to. i recommend it highly.

I really love this App. and so does my friends,, some of them already downloaded this App. Great Job !!!!

Overall it is an excellent app. However, it seems that the curve of the earth is a bit small and the topology of the land masses are very exaggerated. I understand that some users might find the topological enhancements more visually appealing. However, personally I would prefer a view that more accurately represents what one would see out of a space station window.

i think its really cool. Im in love with it. Its been on my desktop forever :)

FYI Honolulu is represented on the Island of Maui…. This is not correct. Oops! ;)

This is decent wallpaper. It has a calming sort-of feel to it. Nice job on the app, although not perfect.

Earth 3D is interesting and fascinating for all ages, after watching for two minutes you want to learn more about our planet.

Its like being in a spaceship looking down at earth. Its fun to try to guess what place you are flying over. I am curious if the topography is exaggerated, however.

I really enjoy this 3D wallpaper of the Earth. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there is some sort of "whoosh" noise the comes and goes through the rotation and will not stop. I have to turn the volume off and cannot listen to any music or videos due to this. However, the overall purpose of the wallpaper is amazing. Please correct this noise!!!!!

It is a very cute and easy viewing wallpaper/screen saver. My kids like to watch it and try to name all the placesas it turns. It is very relaxing...

I have Earth 3D Lite and I think it is awesome. Ill be working on my computer and I see the earth turning and I have to stop for a minute and marvel at the wonder of it all. Whoever thought of the idea of having the earth turn on our desktops is a genius.

This is such a cool idea, and it is executed really, really well. Its fascinating to watch the Earth slowly spin, and it puts into perspective a persons place in the world when you try to comprehend the vastness of the planet. One thing I really like is that the globe is depicted in any orientation, not just with "North" pointing "up," so sometimes its challenging to identify the land mass/ocean you are seeing when you are not seeing them in the usual North/Up view. Its so mesmerizing to watch you wont want to wake your Mac out of screensaver mode! Highly recommended.

This app is amazing!! I just love it. The Earth rotating on my dest top is very intriguing, it appears like what the space shuttle orbiting Earth wouls see as the Earth rotates. As an Astronomy Nerd, this just fits the bill for me in having the Earth rotate on my computer screen. I have a macbook pro, and it looks very nice. You will not be dissapointed.
